I believe she is telling the truth. Most children who try to tell the truth about being molested are shamed into being liars so learn to keep their mouth shut and deal with it. Very few women I've met in my life have ever escaped been molested or sexually assaulted at some point in their life. Just because you don't hear about how often it happens, doesn't mean it doesn't happen. I admire her for calling her monster out...and that the shame he caused her will now haunt him.

I was reading this same exact story on three separate blogs and apparently the guy she's talking about is coming after the posters for disseminating his name all over the internet.

Don't get yourself in legal trouble over this, not worth it.

The pics don't prove anything, either. First, they could also be staged or photoshopped. Let someone investigate that. Second, even if her mother is in them and beat up, it doesn't show WHO DID IT. They could be from being beaten by by someone else. So that doesn't prove her father did anything, even if the pictures are real.

Laura hasn't posted names here, and I think the guy, especially if he is innocent, is right to go after people doing that. He's gotten threats already. Without proof he did anything.

Fear is instilled in abused women, it takes a very strong girl to turn her father in for rape while the attacks are still ongoing. Most abusers put the fear of God into their victims with threats of more violence and even death.

I't how they control their victims.

It's only once they are able to escape the situation and put some perspective on it that they can see that the way they were being treated is so very wrong.

In Sweden we had a man sit in jail for 8 years because some girl was brainwashed by a pschologist that her dad was part of this satanist cult and they had a rapecult etc.

She says the guys first and last name IN THE VIDEO...by posting the video, she is posting the guys personal information.

She is an actress. She an IMDB page. She looks like she is acting out a typical scene, similar to the opening "video" in a Magnum PI episode (where the woman looked like she killed herself on video). It is quite similar a scene. Acting and all does it. But if you look at her normal stuff, she doesn't seem so destroyed. It seems like an act -- again if she had real problems, the solution isn't a youtube video for attention, but a psychologist, the police, etc.

First and last names are merely that, but I'll edit it either way so that people can go to Huffington Post. The issue however is posting the personal information of THAT specific person or people, again which is why I think it was taken down. It wasn't the mention of the name but the name and then contact information, location, etc.

Many people with the first and last name like that. Posting the video which is discussed all over the internet is not going to get anyone in trouble.

If you actually tried and looked it up you would realize that there is actually only ONE name that matches his wifes alias and real name. Came up INSTANTLY when I Googled it.

Exactly, a first and last name is one thing, but when it's tied to a first name, last name, and people then posting address and contact info of a specific individual in a specific location that indicates that it's THAT person, it can become an issue. Either way, I edited it so that people can go to Huffington Post to read and see the video, that way there's no worry of anything posted being misconstrued.

Well from my own personal experience.

Spent 7 years in an abusive marriage.
When he picked up my young son and threw him against the wall during one of his tirades.

Long story short, I plotted to get out.

He lied on the witness stand in court, but the judge saw right through him.
I was granted an immediate divorce with a lifetime restraining order protecting myself and my kids.

His family called me all kinds of names, spread rumours about me, ruined my reputation.


I survived.

Years later, I get a knock on the door from the police, they are investigating my ex for making snuff films and want to know what I knew. All this 20 years after the divorce.

Took a long time, but I was vindicated.

So do I believe her, yes. The world can be a cruel and ugly place.

And I know many women who are abusive, lie on the witness stand, and everything. It happens both ways. Sorry you hate men, but the reality is: there are scummy men and scummy women, and there are lying men and lying women. As long as you think "We must accept it is true" because it is an accusation you have set up a tyranny of injustice. Period.

I'm sorry you have crossed paths with abusive women, most women that claim abuse really are suffering.

Judges are very good at discerning who is lying and who is telling the truth.
That is why they are judges.

Yes there are scummy men and women, this girl appears to be disclosing the scummy man who just happens to be her father.

Unless she is one hell of a vindictive bitch and lying through her teeth, which in my opinion she is not, this guy is going to try putting the genie back in the bottle for now that the secrets are out, society will view him in a much different light.
