I need help, what programs are available to folks like me???

My siblings in WV have faced similar situations.

1. Consider relocating. Oil areas have more jobs than most.

2. Look for a lower paying job in another field or start your own business.

3. Cut your expenses to the bone and prepare to survive. If you have a nice house, sell it and rent a condo. My 42 yr old son in construction did a stint at Pizza Hut. Fortunately for him, he looks 25 and has fast food experience.

Bottom line, it's a new game. Many jobs are gone and not coming back. Wages have dropped. Construction will not boom again on most places. Prepare to reinvent yourself and/or go on food stamps.

This is reality. And if you're ready to transcend reality read The Secret or some other Law of Attraction books and get to work.
