"The new Nor'easter, although not as strong as Hurricane Sandy, has the potential to slow down restoration and cause new outages,” JCP&L President Don Lynch said in a statement Tuesday. “We urge all our customers to prepare, just in case, and ask for their patience while we deal with the weather's next onslaught.”

An additional 600 linemen arrived Tuesday to help with restoring power, according to the utility.

JCP&L spokesman Ron Morano said Wednesday the utility has “an army of more than 10,000 people” and they are adding more crews today.

Even if they were told to evac before the storm, they still would want to go back after. That is their homes. Did you think evacuating before a storm means leave your home forever?
