What is going on with USGS scrubbing quakes? I have seen A LOT of it over the last couple of weeks (I'm a weirdy when it comes to seismology) - most recently the 4.5 in Utah today that was there then gone. What is going on?? Does anyone have any insight or insider information? Are they just removing quakes that happen in less-populated areas and hoping that no one will notice or care? It's scary...

I believe the 4.5 in Utah wasnt an echo but a build up of stress causing the reading.

A 7.4 - 7.5 magnitude quake hit the Western North American Coast (Central America) this morning. This quake followed by a 4.5 in Utah signals the stress on the West Coast.

The entire West Coast is under our Earthquake Watch and the window was extended until Friday morning. We are still watching California.


We have been on earthquake alert ever since Saturday with HAARP Status giving an expanded area of long wave-length over Western United States.
