I own and construct survival retreats and to get the jump in activity we have had since 1am this morning it really shows people are really freaking out.

We've seen a definite increase in our business just this morning as well.

Those who believe it to be their responsibility to prepare for themselves and their family understand it is more pertinent now than ever, considering the uncertain times in which we currently live.

Those who believe it is the .gov's responsibility to provide for and take care of them and their families will always believe so - until they're left cold and hungry. Then, it's no longer "preparing", but more of a "catching up" - and that learning curve is steep and unforgiving.

The houses cost market value, it's just that some of the labor cost is deferred by the labor input of the homeowner, and the mortgage is interest-free. Also, you have to have maintained a minimum income level and have a minimum savings account to even qualify for this program.

Just one community. I realize it takes many people to truly survive in a real SHTF situation that was the whole purpose of the company all my family actually live ther as well as many friends
