I feel they are both entirely different Gods

They both refer to God. Jehovah witnesses call him Jehovah which is not how his name is spelled. Yahweh is correct imo.

IN Hebrew it's not a 'J' sound it is a Ya sound. When taken into the different tongue it gets pronounced differently.
So the name comes from the sacred word YHVH but there are inconsistencies along the path of history that show maybe people aren't worshiping whom they thought they were. Too many get caught up n the religion of man and the doctrine. Truth is, each person already has what they need inside of themselves. It doesn't matter if you name it Jehovah, Yahweh or Mr. Popo.

Now there are also many secrets hidden in the Hebrew word. I can't go into all of it, but it's really intriguing stuff. Like a giant puzzle that continues to reveal new things that lead to more things.

I think it's a glimpse into the next dimension. A looking glass you could call it. It's a Rosetta Stone of our modern world. But not the only one. Triangulation is important.
