I work for the government, I doubt it will be said to me.

Then won't the employer will have to hire more people to fill in for you? Since you are working less? Then the new guy can't afford private health insurance either. So you and all the other people you work with have to get insurance through the government plans.

Then if this becomes a trend private insurance companies won't make enough profit. So the will have to jack up their rates. Then more people become unable to pay and go to the government plan. Then the insurance companies again have to jack up rates.

Until at last no middle class family can afford anything but the government plan. BAM! Universal healthcare.

Already done to me. I did know I was 1099 until i got my paper in January. I've talked to a number of people at a lot of local employers in Florida are paying 9-10 an hour 1099 take it or leave it.

You waste time and money for the government(us). There, fixed it for ya.

I get 1099, which means I keep all my money. I don't mind because there is no way I'm paying taxes. I just wish I had more than 10 hours of work a week.
