Dream Tsunami!
I was at a hot springs in what at first appeared to be a high elevation, however we were just off of some kind of sea. It was beautiful, with hills and cliff rising above the springs up to some various buildings / hotel what have you. The place had a really 'trippy' kind of feel and I really liked it.

Then, suddenly I noticed a giant wave in the distance...and another behind it....I though..."oh, that's not normal around here is it?" (asked someone with me this I believe)...we were like "no"- so we started running for higher ground. We ran around and up by all these buildings on the cliffs to get to safety...the dream ended, but I think we were basically safe...the water lapped up around us and started to recede.

This place was big- we were not right on the sea...it had a few major hills to climb before reaching the hill we were at the bottom of at the springs...

Really cathartic dream....scary but invigorating.

Maybe Hot Springs, AR?

I had a flood dream while staying in a cottage on Lake Hamilton there last year.

Yes Yes- Santorini also fits where I was quite well, but the architecture was much more wood-based than stucco...there were *lots* of trees to be sure.

I often have 'visions' of a place like that being created, but on the west coast...I mean with all kinds of buildings on cliffs...

Not exactly- but I'll explain:

The 'hotel' was more like a giant, but rustic complex...cabins perhaps plus main buildings going up a hill...but the thing is, There was another bunch of mountains/hills in front of the hot springs and resort complex...the waves came up over the initial mountains/hills and start creeping up the bottom hill we were on...and then running up the hill the resort complex was on...

...this is making me think also of that one hotel that is real...I think someone said it was in Southern Cal perhaps- but it had a name that someone had seen in a dream or something. I wish I could remember the name...it was discussed here quite a few years ago.

Thanks for the input! hf

I don't know any other dreams/visions about Santorini myself...my other visions I think I mentioned are of a 'Santorini'-like place, but probably in the PACNW or possibly N. California...but these are all good visions, not of destruction- but perhaps *after* a major event 50 years or so down the road. I have many of these visions, which I might leave for another time...basically, it's all about being in Canada BC in the far future...there are waterways everywhere and everyone travels by boat...high-tech boats I believe...it's kinda like Venice, but with huge surrounding Northwest Mountains, and the climate is warm rather than cold all the way up to Alaska.

Things look and feel sort of like this:

Re: Dream Tsunami!
People have been dreaming about water for hundreds of years and writing them down. Water dreams have significance in dreams. I used to have dreams about being in a canoe paddling down roads that were made of water all the time. It was a reoccuring dream for me. I also had dreams about houses. Some were little at first and then as I opened doors they would lead to huge grand rooms and just kept getting bigger and bigger. Somtimes the homes were beautiful and somtimed they were in bad bad shape with holes in the floor to fall threw.

Dreams have significance. What you dream about has significance. Dreams about water are about Emotional and spiritual feelings. It also depends on the mood in your dream and what was happening.

Go look up your dreams. There are lots of free sites and figure out their meaning. They are different for everybody. hf

Any chance it was somewhere in the UK? was it coastal? if so check out google earth and look round the edges of the UK coastline to see if you can spot it.

Someone else posted earlier today that they dreamt a tsunami hit the UK - that's not normal around there...

Re: Dream Tsunami!
I had a dream about 5 years ago of a tsunami coming to new york. I don't live there, I'm in Arizona. I dreamt I was with my family, kids and even dog and we knew it was coming and we went to a skyscaper building and got on the elevator to go to the top floor. It kept stopping on the way up because more people were trying to get on but it was packed full. It hit just as we got to the top and I felt the impact and the building tilted but held. I believe its gonna happen.

Thank you for sharing! I've always believed dreams have to be interpereted on a personal level...as far as the symbolism, but I agree with your assessment about water and emotion~

I recommend the Seth Material books for lots of interesting ideas on dreams...

...actually the idea of the rooms getting grander...that visual puts an instant image / idea in my mind which I will ponder...

My assessment for the UK and Ireland, etc is it seem like a warmer climate overall...there were *lots* of trees, and I always associate the UK with rolling grassy hills rather than lots of trees (I may be off here, because I've never been there- but that's what I presume)

They say a strong skyscraper is really one of the best places on land to be if this happens...I have a hill here behind me, where if things happen really fast I can at least get another 1000 feet up or so...I have a spot I go to up there, sort of for meditation and to just get away from things...

This is highly probably, being that it's only a few hours from me...I love the olympic penninsula and want to go back...Sol Duck is in front of Crescent lake which is interesting...

...I had a dream years ago which was very vivid, but all be it more personal, and it was about a similar kind of place...we were all with family, and again it felt like something had happened prior and we were living in a new sort of reality...odd. Sol Duck fits so far better than anything...thanks!

That's freaky. I had a similar dream a few years back. In real life, I work on the 11th floor of my building. There's a large river that runs through the downtown area to the ocean that's a few miles away. In the dream, I was here in the middle of the night and the water was as high as the 6th or 7th floor. The building was starting to shake like it was going to collapse. It was so scary because I was afraid of the building falling, but the water was already so high that there was no way to run outside.

i've had a very similar dream too. mine happened in the daytime, and i was on top of a tall building, which I could feel swaying in the water, which was about a floor below the top of the building

i can remember wishing a small boat which was floating nearby, but out of reach would come a bit closer, because I knew when the water withdrew it would take the building
