Why is it that old people tend to dislike change that benefits future generations?

I'm 52 and have no problem with it. I think you should move the age limit up to about 65 and older.

By letting younger people throw out this old raggedy system and begin a new one that focuses on productivity, comfort, safety, and peace. Don't forget love. Obviously this world works on money, but the debt isn't dissapearing no matter how much you whine about it and blame whoever. Change tends to come from younger generations who are tired of the same old.

I say there's nothing wrong with debt if you'll never be able to pay it back anyways.

If you actually talk to young people you would see that we all want change. Positive change where we all live in harmony and in an ideal world where we all matter. That obviously doesn't work in this system that is controlled by old folks who lie and can't tell the truth to save their life since their billions matter more obviously.

I believe younger people have more to offer. The mind becomes more limited with age. The young carry more ideas that benefit future generations making their lives easier.

Older people are wiser when it comes to some things, but don't bring anything new to the table. History shows it, not me. This is not opinion this is fact.

I know I do, we all do. We are all foolish, blind, and narrow minded. There are unproductive people in all ages, but I haven't seen true change coming from the old. They've been carrying power for quite some time now. All I see is a creepy society with unemployed unproductive individuals and those who need help but can't get it even if they want to be productive.

The older people in Germany feared Hitler. They understood what Lenin, and Marx had achieved from their thinking and they paid attention to what Stalin and Mussolini were doing. When Hitler spoke his pretty words the elderly knew where it could lead but it was the youth that were memorized by him, not questioning anything their leader said. Even when it became obvious to most that Hitler was insane, the youth still blindly followed him. Did it ever occur to you that maybe it is you who because of a lack of history and experience are the one who does not understand things as well as the older people do. We remember how small changes, gradually accepted by the whole, can eventually lead to something bad. What starts out as a beautiful dream, when handled by someone who wants a different outcome than you, can over time become a horrible nightmare. You youth think you know everything, that your dreams and ideas are different than ours but we remember the past, the outcomes of ideas that were transformed by the leaders. The only way the entire planet can live in peace is if we are all equally poor and have all freedom taken from us. In a one world order only the elite leaders will do well, the rest of us will be controlled.

I know that, but Hitler was an idiot and had a dumb reason to kill the jews. I think the young generation now is smarter and want productivity and are sick of science and technology being pushed aside for money and the wealthy. A one world order is pre-destined. It's the process of human evolution. We all must all come together sooner or later, and order must always be maintained in any society. I'm sure future leaders will have different motives and more moral values then the ones now. If money is not the motive, then productivity, comfort, peace, and love would have to be.

All I'm saying is that older people through out history seem to have caused most problems and have used power in a negative and unproductive way. They have only made our lives harder and I hope future generations don't have to live through this where getting a decent paying job to survive is like finding gold in quicksand on this planet.

That is because older people have been around long enough to know that the BS you are buying into is fantasy. It is all just advertising.

BTW. It is because we do care about future generations that we fight to keep certain changes from happening. We wanted the Constitution to remain untouched since it had protected this country so well for 200 years and now as it is being destroyed, your generation not ours will soon know an America without freedom. We truly wanted for all future generations to enjoy the opportunities, the rights and freedoms that the greatest country in the world had to offer. I am so sorry for what is to come, what the youth will have to endure.

We can not all live in peace. The Muslims are the fastest growing group of people on the planet. They do not want to live in peace with us and they never will. It's so hard to explain things to young people. On Star Trek, the Borg went through the galaxy destroying civilizations. They believed that they were the only ones that should exist. Assimilate or die. Forced assimilation by one group on all others is the only way this world could live in peace, all nations would be one. The problem is that it would be forced and which group do you think should decide that their way is best?

Easily, the group that values moral univeral respect, comfort, and have ideas that would make living easier for everyone. Productivity is the number one issue in the world. If you don't create then you would be considered lazy and unethetical. As I've said order is everything but the older people seem to throw away that order and use it to enslave people instead of making them become smarter and want to make positive change.

In a perfect world that group would be chosen by most others to lead, but this isn't a perfect world. There are tribes in Africa that insist that all others should be killed and the Muslim extremist have the same mentality. As long as there are extreme groups that believe in genocide humans can not live in peace. The only way it will happen is by force and I guarantee it will not be the peaceful people who will be in charge.

Only the most violent, decietful, and vengeful groups rise to the top. It's a proven fact that males increase testosterone production when they dominate another male.
The system is based on domination and destruction. The energy that exists is there for the taking, they have created a civil society that will be uncivilized in a moments notice if certain inputs are taken away.

The more people realize this and the less they belive in the 'system' the better.

The proof is in what they tell us to do - telling us to vote, pushing non-violence as a way to change...

These are both proven to be ineffective and useless.

A vote regardless of who or even a non-vote is a vote of consent into a corrupted system. Not voting is the only way to truly vote in no-confidence.

Non-violence is simply a way to minimize the attention that a state needs to focus resources.

Both are pushed as the alternative to direct civil disobediance and non-participtation... the only true ways to change a system... take a page from the marxists and black panthers if you really want to make a change.

I am not advocating anything other than that people need to open their eyes if they ever want a better life without the government handing them stuff.

Minorities and the poor should pay the most attention to this. However, they are the most conditioned and brain washed of all... the extreme rich and poor have to be brain washed in this regard... only those that have pushed their own limitations and those that are very self-reliant are now diminished to the realities of where government dependance will lead us... who will do anything if we are paying everyone that won't do anything? This will change soon.

Older people are afraid. They are running to keep up in an ever changing, technologically driven world where that is a hard task for even the much younger people. They are often haunted by the past, remember, they have lived through SO MANY major changes in the past 50-60 years that its mind boggling. Now that they are older and overwhelmed with more change they have a very hard time adjusting to it at all. Many of them simply cannot adjust anymore, So they project their fears onto others and dig their heels in thinking somehow this will make a difference.
