I think that he can sleep soundly at night knowing that they (the GOP) did it to themselves (their treatment of paul and his base was shabby at best and criminally disrespectful at worst). |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 19020261 United States 11/07/2012 04:08 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Spot on OP. The GOP should have had this election handed to them on a platter, and should have gained seats in congress, to boot. After waking up 4 years ago, and separating myself from the two party puppet game, I hope more in this country will do the same. I couldn't help but notice how little was ever said during the "debates" about the secret ingredient that's been missing from Washington for years....Our Constitution. The republican's blatant disrespect and attempts to humiliate Dr. Paul and those who long for true liberty, will never be forgiven. |

Third parties always divide the conservative vote and so this just handed the election to Obama. But a political party does not "suffer" because it is not a being. It's the citizens of this country who are going to pay the price of this election. Politicians just regroup and carry on, business as usual. One of the most important aspects of conspiracy theories is being able to discern when there isn't one. Oh yeah, like you'd understand anyway. They were deathly afraid of his popularity, and decided it was worth alienating a very big base. It cost them dearly. It's no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 19980561 United States 11/07/2012 04:40 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | [link to www.lewrockwell.com] Quoting: Anonymous Coward 26579062 Romney lost today to a guy who is overseeing a horrible economy, prosecuting unpopular wars, and who can barely string 5 words together without a teleprompter. This was the best the Republican Party can do. Not only are the Republicans evil, they're evil and contemptible losers, which is far worse. The biggest losers tonight are of course people who value peace and freedom, but we would have also lost if Romney won. The GOP is right up there in the loser category, however. The GOP lost seats in the Senate, and did little to improve its position in the House. It has served up two ridiculously bad nominees in a row, claiming "electability" and then going down in flames. Rand Paul certainly came out of this looking very bad as well. He fell in line behind the party masters, banking on some advantage to be gained through an endorsement of Romney. He ended up just looking politically unsavvy and unprincipled. There is little to be gained either, from playing ball with a Party that as inept as the GOP at this point. It's not beyond the realm of possibility that the GOP may actually show sign of disintegration in the next several years. The GOP has ceased to present any sort of actual alternative, and worse yet, it can't run a winning candidate. Once that happens, the coalition that makes up your political party will begin to fall apart. The Ron Paul movement is a big winner here. The GOP told the libertarians in the party to get lost, and the GOP paid for it. Interestingly, both Iowa and Nevada, where Ron Paul supporters gained control of the state party, both went to Obama after the Romney campaign actively fought to disenfranchise Ron Paul supporters. I guess the GOP got what it wanted there. There is exactly one movement that offers any real opposition to the status quo, and it ain't the conservative movement, which is on life support and entering a permanent vegetative state. Ron Paul's libertarian movement, brimming with well-educated young people, is the only thing left standing. The GOP operatives who predicted a big victory tonight just look pathetic. [more at link] I'll bet you my house Chris Christie becomes the next president. And it wont take him long to undo All Of Obamas Crap. |

That's quite a nice load of hot, steaming, status quo you're presenting....Christie, Rubio, or Petreus?? Who's payroll are you on, anyway? Fuck off. If I want to debate with a Paul Tard, I'll go to the nearest bus stop and look down into a clogged toilet. You dumbasses helped elect Obama. Enjoy that 20 trillion dollar national debt, more credit rating downgrades, a stagnant and inflationary economy, massive social unrest and both cultural & racial identity crisis --- except this time, it would be WHITE people that are the endangered species in America. But that's what you two-faced, triple-talking NIHILISTS wanted all along, right: to crash the system, to stick it to the Man. Cuz, you know, if you're miserable in your life, everyone else has to be, too. Especially the rich, right? LOL Funny though how when running into L. Ron Paultard disciples, it inevitably comes down to 3 things: 1) They accuse you of being a paid "shill". Cuz in their simple, childish minds that can't comprehend that someone may not share their POV. 2) They hide they fact that they secretly wanted Obama to win all along, with basically makes them no different that traditional Liberals -- only more dishonest and intellectual cowardly. 3) They want the world to burn and the system to crash. That instinctive hatred of anything constructive, orderly and accomplished. They thrive on chaos -- or so they think, because they've led sheltered, spoiled lives in America, guarded by the dread "Military-Industrial Complex", so they never had to learn what it's like to fight or fend for themselves. They think real chaos and revolutons look like they do in Hollywood movies. Paul Tards think that they are the embodiment of Keaunu Reeves in Matrix. They think Natalie Portman will such their dick ala "V for Vendetta" if they only make a clever one-liner on an internet message board! See that's the difference between honest, honourable Republicans and Paul Tards. Real, loyal Republicans WOULD HAVE VOTED for Ron Paul if he was the Republican nominee against Obama. Maybe not happily, but they would have bit the bullet. Wheras the venal, craven Paul Turds, stabbed Romney in the back. LOL, they're so,so predictable. I even know what they'll write in response to this post. Literally word for word. |
