If I was a US citizen I'd probably own a gun.

I'm not up on the specifics (don't have time to read every topic with 6 billion posts...) but if it's just control as in you need to show ID, prove who you are etc. I don't see the problem (don't you have to do that anyway?). Or is this about taking your actual guns away? I'd be worried why they suddenly want your guns taken away. I mean, it's not like you NEED a gun to go on a killing spree.
