Which is not much considering it dropped 5% today from it's overnight high. It will be interesting to see what tonights overnights look like. Quoting: Saddletramp I don't see a 700 point drop in the Dow, though if any big fund starts a selloff it could cascade. Actually I expect a dead cat bounce, about 25% of todays loss... With the elections out of the way, the known and oderous financial policies of Obama, the unknown of the fiscal cliff and what it portends for taxes and our debt, the unknown of Europe, ratings downgrades in the pipeline for the U.S. that all = uncertainty. The markets hate uncertainty. They will never strike a quick deal on the Fiscal Cliff, the democrats are bound to have tax increases, the Republicans are bound to have spending cuts. This won't happen overnight, and whatever they finally put out won't be good for any of us. And don't forget provisions of Obamacare kicking in next year... Selling short off of any daily gains (even minimal gains) looks to be the order of the day until some of this irons itself out... And if you don't believe me, you are always free to BUY BUY BUY into the charging Bear... Just because you're paranoid don't mean they ain't out to get ya! Paranoid?!?!? I wish! Shit son, we're hell and gone from paranoid... We don't rent pigs... Come and take it! |

So we can't just blame them for our problems...unless we're idiots...and well, this is GLP, so let the blaming begin... Socialism cannot be sustained, because you eventually run out of other people's money... No. What rus out is the ability to service new debt. Welfare is funded with borrowed money as is YOUR paycheck. No new debt no paycheck for you and no welfare checks sent to the trailer park. Money doesn't exist until its borrowed. Our money is credit and until nitwits get that through their thick skulls the banks that own and run this world will continue to do so. Do not try to educate him on the truth, he thinks he is a financial and business super star. He does not know that the Federal reserve issues DEBT, with compounding interest. The numbers are impossible, there will never be enough labor or products to "pay it off" with interest. Central banks are perpetual debt machines. He's a parasite on working people and unfortunately he's not alone. |

The collapse of our financial system is now underway. Any hopes of averting the financial collapse of America were dashed last night when Oblabla won re-election. US business know that the US can not remain a competitive world power with half the people working and the other half leaching off the half that works. As such, the selloff has begun. |

This is the best quote so far today! The DOW is way over inflated and is sitting in a glass floor. If you want true recovery, "they" should of let it fall to a recovery level 4 years ago. If they would of done that we wouldn't be in the financial state our country is in today..... And it's only gonna get worse:) |

Anyone who has skin in the game knows that they will have to "pay their fair share" come January 1st. If you have any brains, you would sell while you can, pay the current tax and sock that away or invest in hard commodities, such as physical gold and silver. It would also be wise to invest in lead, brass and an explosive propellant device otherwise known as a gun and gun powder, because I got a feeling owning 1 is going to get harder. Staying in the game at this point is just pointless now. Sell while you can or suffer the consequences. |
