did they subtract the leap year days from the Mayan calender on account of our Georgian calender and figured out the end of that Mayan cycle already happened?
Quoting: T Ceti H.C. Radnarg they used the astronomical references which the Mayan are known for to the nth degree to plot the date the current gregorian calendar falls on. The codex doesn't say 12.12.12
