I think what he is saying is to order your pizzas before the storm. If the power and/or gas is out you can eat pizza cold. it is actually pretty tasty cold. and it is different than hot pizza. If you think about it pizza is really just an open faced sandwich so you can and should eat it cold every once in a while. as long as it was cooked once.

I am not sure about the Chinese food though. I cant afford to order it, even on carry out, much less delivery, but from what I remember it does not taste that good cold. something about the spices seems to be too dense, like cold chili is not as good as warm chili.

I think he is saying stuff you should do before the storm.
