Go to Tijuana, Mexico where alternative treatment clinics abound! My mom was stage 4 lung cancer and the western route ( 6 years of suffering) almost killed her. She went to a clinic and was given several different treatments. She thinks the hydrogen peroxide and vitamin C IV infusions is what killed the cancer. She was given a variety of natural herbs daily, ( many of the Drs. that have found cancer cures have gone to Tijuana) 4-6 large glasses of fresh vegi and fruit juices, healing massages, delicious food, light therapy etc. Needless to say, she left the clinic more healthy and vibrant then she'd been in years. I am sorry to hear that. There have been times in my life where I have been paranoid about having terminal illnesses and I never ended up having one. Although I cannot fathom the reality of actually being diagnosed with one, I can relate to fear, however you do not seem to be afraid and that is good! Always remember that cancer is not a death sentence anymore! You can be cured! But do not give into the control program and flee to religion out of fear. I always get tempted to do that when something scares me but I resist! We are not meant to bow to ANYONE human, god, or otherwise. We are sentient beings with a BRAIN and a SOUL. None have the right to force us to our knees. When you are dealing with the possibility of a premature death you might be tempted to turn to one of the many mainstream religions in this world. I implore you to live the rest of your life, no matter how long, or short without fear, regret, or sorrow! You get to understand the eternal mystery of death! I believe we reincarnate somewhere else after death at any rate. If that alone lands me in hell then god is a prick.

I've seen many studies about Tumeric and Cumin, I saw someone here say put the Tumeric in your salt shaker, just a bit. We have it like that to this day. Every time we salt our food, there's a little extra dose.

Try to remember to emphasize the positive, I know it can be difficult, but I beat my cancer and you can too. A positive attitude is key for beating it.

Small cell lung cancer is very aggressive and only has two stages, limited and extensive. It is a neuroendocrine malignancy, unlike the more common non-small cell (squamous and adeno) lung cancers.

Surgery is almost never used, as this disease is considered to always be systemic when discovered, whether spread outside the chest is identified or not. It frequently responds well to chemoradiation but usually - though not always- will recur. Prophylactic brain radiation is often recommended, since this entity has a high propensity to metastasize to the brain where chemotherapy is generally ineffective because of the blood-brain barrier.

Please be wary about trying alternative treatments, you're best chance at beating this is to achieve remission with first line standard therapy. If you respond, which I pray you do, then alternative therapies may be worth considering to maintain or prolong the response.

I do see long term survivors in my practice, so do not give up hope even if your oncologist is only describing doom.

My husband was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer 5.5 years ago. He looked as though he was going to die the next day. After we both absorbed the diagnosis we put our heads together and decided to give it all we had.

He quit smoking in a week and we started researching vitamins and healthy foods. Lots of good suggestions in this thread. Cancer does feed on sugar and also likes it when the body is in a strong acidic state. Green foods are the best, eat as much as you can. We did juicing, it was great.

Ron also did all of the strong chemo and radiation. The good news was that because he was considered terminal they didn't operate on him giving him time to fight the disease himself. Ron got better and better. He did insist on doing the chemo treatments even though I wanted him to slow down. You really don't read a lot of good things about chemo.

Then one day his blood showed too many immature white blood cells. The diagnosis was now leukemia, the worst kind. Because he was considered terminal they didn't offer to do a transplant. He needed to go to the hospital every day to check his blood. Near the end he was receiving blood daily to live. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. One day he slipped into a coma and died peacefully in the evening. He lived 1 year and 4 months after his diagnosis.

Sorry about this length but it is hard to shorten. My suggestion to you with stage 2 cancer is that you have a very good chance of survival. Be careful with chemo--not too much but enough to help. Go for the natural nutrition. Ron did very well on that. If you smoke, stop.

I read the book "Heaven is for Real" about the little boy. A very comforting book.

There are natural remedies which can cure cancer, especially cannabis oil... I'm just curious as to how you'd administer it.

Look up some cures on the internet, they're abundant and you'll find an answer.

Also if you make your body alkaline (by not eating or drinking anything acidic) you can make it so that the cancer cells won't be able to live in your system and they'll die that way.

All is not lost, just look into it. If you want to die, then that's you're wish, but if you don't, there ARE ways out.
