My brother lost a job he had for 12 years, went through his unemployment and a meager 10,000 savings and now draws a whooping 210.00 per month in food stamps. He has no children but if he did it would jump to 352.00 and a 140.00 in cash assistance.

I'm already planning to. No joke. I've got a good job but the company is ditzy and if I stopped doing productive work tomorrow it would probably take them 5 months to notice. Another 2 months to lay me off. Then I go on unemployment for a while, then maybe trump up some kind of "disability". I could eat myself into obesity like some people do before claiming disability. And once I'm done with that I'll be old enough to retire and start collecting social security.

You must be one of the GLP members who isn't already on welfare. You'd have a better chance crashing the system if you all got off welfare. All the additional people working would make inflation and interest rates skyrocket.

Several years ago, we lived in a fairly upscale neighborhood, were renting a house for $1,300 a month. Next door was a two-story house that was owned by a lazy Vietnamese couple who did absolutely NOTHING to maintain it, and they were renting it out to a black family for $1,500 a month.

We found out it was Section 8 - the renters were paying $300 a month - TAXPAYERS were paying the balance to the owners.

Point: Many people in America, living on welfare and gov assistance, are living pretty high on the hog.

But even though they're living in better areas, you can count on them eventually trashing it out . . . those renters, little by little, moved in more family members, strung a clothesline across the backyard, put crappy old furniture out in the front yard . . . and that one propery de-valued the entire neighborhood.

There are apparently no limits now in some states on Section 8 housing, so to everyone who buys or rents a house in what "appears" to be a nice, safe neighborhood: BEWARE the government-sponging spoilers.

Put money in physical metal to protect against inflation.... Check
Form LLC and put your home, car, boat, airplane anything of value in LLC... Check

Me and the wife can get about $70,000 a year in freebies and still draw social security....

People are so MISINFORMED. I see homeless people, out on the streets, begging for change. I live in MA and lived in CA, years ago, and it's worse there. I was taking a bus in CA a few years ago, and saw this man and his two children with suitcases. He was telling them they were going to another shelter. It's really sad, when it's really cold and the homeless shelters are overcrowded, here in MA where it gets really cold, in the winter.
