our health care system has always been different from the world. here in america, it wasn't different, it was the same. it was driven by a free market economy, the best insurance companies thrived, the best medical treatments survived, because people would only spend their money on the best option, thus our country created the most innovative health solutions on the planet.
obamacare: it will be driven by a central theocracy, with no competition. health care professionals will be paid less, and business' will be drowned in government red tape.
2. redistribution
sounds good at first, just like communism sounds good on paper. but when you have the wealthiest country on earth, redistribution sounds above good, it sounds fucking orgasmic. but here's the problem, the money doesn't come out of thin air, it comes from taxes, and when you have high taxes, you lose the incentive to work hard. eventually it completes its goal of everyone being equal (granted, in a country like ours, this would take 50+ years, but it will still come to the same conclusion) and no one has any incentive to innovate, the economy flat-lines.
3. foreign policy
the world will continue to see us as weak, because of who we elect. There is a reason that there hasn't been a major world wide conflict since ww2, and this has nothing to do with the people we have elected to office, it has everything to do with the end of ww2. when we bombed hiroshima and nagasaki (check my spelling on that) the world understood that we are not going to put up with any bullshit, other nations started wars, other nations made mass genocide but to kill two cities of hundreds of thousands of people at once, and then to claim it was for freedom was something that the world is still scratching their head over. Since its beginning, the world has been in a constant state of war, and while wars are going on between america and name the country, the rest of the world has peace, however, if we are seen as week, all areas come into play, resulting in global chaos.
These things cannot be tied down to one man, it will be tied down to the mindset of americans, if we continue the course we are on, we are putting the planet on a very bad course
the response from this post will give me a better idea of how most americans think, i thought romney would win in a landslide... i need to keep digging
