Thousands of military votes uncounted or missing, and this was before the announcement that there were sufficient numbers to potentially swing the vote for Romney in several states; however, the typical ObamaRags have claimed that news as false (including the above publication - which originally reported on the issue as being an issue - go figure).

MASSIVE DECLINE in Democrat voter registration for the 2012 election...

So, this might explain the decline in overall registered voters in Ohio (somewhat). But how is it that we have 300k fewer registered voters in Ohio (mostly Democrat according to the above), and yet Romney loses the state when Republican district turnout is widely reported as significantly more robust than 2008? How is this?

Even more interesting is this quote...

"Voter registration in the Buckeye State is down by 490,000 people from four years ago. Of that reduction, 44 percent is in Cleveland and surrounding Cuyahoga County, where Democrats outnumber Republicans more than two to one."

The tally according to the SOS was a 305k decline, so Ohio registered voters grew by a total of 185k from September 29th to November 6...possible I suppose, but definitely suspect.

Can't wait to see the official results by precinct and county.

Wow...even more interesting. According to the Ohio Secretary of State, you must register 30 days prior to the election you're voting in, so somehow Ohio managed to add 185k registered voters in 7 days?!...

Ohio has a 30-day voter registration requirement. However, if the voter registration deadline falls on a Sunday or a legal holiday, then the deadline is extended to the next day that is not a Sunday or a legal holiday.

Registration by U.S. mail
If you choose to register to vote using the U.S. mail, you may send your properly completed and signed registration application to the office of a county board of elections or the Secretary of State’s office. Your application must be postmarked by the voter registration deadline, the 30th day before the election, in order to be eligible to vote in that election.

Registration in person

The polls showed Romney winning by a landslide. All the polls were weighted in favor of democrats from 5 to 10 points, anticipating, they said, a 2008 turnout. But, less democrats turned out in 2012 by 3 percent. That means these polls were really in Romney's favor by 8 to 13 percent. THAT IS A LANDSLIDE.

I find it beyond belief that in the worst economy since the
Great Depression and so many people including Democrats unhappy with the
way things have gone in the past four years that this could have played out the way it did.

Just simple logic....Republicans were not going to vote
him back in and a lot of Democrats that voted for him in last election did not this time.

So the only area in question is new voters and third party voters.....or rampant fraud.

Agreed, third party voters were not the reason in Ohio at least. They made up 1.6% of the voting population in both 2008 and 2012. No difference, and not enough to swing for either candidate.

So that excuse does not fly.

Yes this makes me think he was talked to, threatened and/or a deal made. A lot of shit is swirling around now, Obama's whole cabinet basically quitting in a very public way, Petraeus being fired in a questionable way, even some House members must have the idea of impeachment in the back of their minds.

Accumulating as much evidence of fraud as possible, while it's still fresh and available, and making any possible legal challenges to preserve rights in that regard, is a great idea!

That's true - there is no way to tell for sure what the racial, religious, or other demographic attributes of those missing "potential votes" were.

Lots of people are completely disgusted with both Obama and Romney (for a variety of reasons) and decided not to vote in protest. I'm one of those who decided to go 3rd-party in protest instead of not voting at all, in hopes that it might help get them up to the 5% mark. Oh well.

As far as those in the "missing" group who have traditionally voted Republican goes, three reasons rise to the top of my mind as to reasons why they probably sat home and did not vote for Romney:

a) The Mormon issue bothered them too much.

b) The over the top amount of flip-flopping and blatant lying was just too much to condone.

c) They finally woke up and realized that they are in in the class of folks (working poor & middle class) that Romney's class (super-rich) will continue to use and then piss on, and they finally stopped voting for those who do not have their best interests in mind. That 47% video really drove that home for a lot of people.
