They made shitty cars for 30 years and happily dumped them on the market. They received unprecedented taxpayer support BEFORE the bailout with a monopoly on municipal, state, federal, and military purchases as well as tax breaks, favorable property sales in their production locales, as well as the original bailout of Chrysler in 1979.

usa stopped building good cars in the early 90's. until then they had a unique american look. there is no reason anymore to buy american cars, they look ugly and waste a lot of gas...
