$5000 would be enough to publish an amazing book about creating your dreams that my friend wrote/painted/drew from her visions. It is called "Make Ready the Harbor". This has been my life's dream, ever since I realized 20 years ago that publishing this book was my mission. Learned to use a computer and went on to get a masters in publishing. Now I am editing the pages in Photoshop, which is taking hundreds of hours, but I believe the world needs this book. Now all I need is the money to pay the printers and market it.

I could really use the $5K. I would invest in myself. I would use the money to repair some teeth that are desperately in need. I would put some aside for the rainy day that I always fear will come and there is no money for; for me that can be as small as the car (used and old) needs a tow, or the dog gets ill. I would use some of the money to complete the paperwork for my sons to finalize their dual citizenship with Italy, so they would have more choices in life than just here, and so they can leave if need be to make a better way. I would buy my husband a new pair of eyeglasses, his are currently held together with a paperclip and tape and are scratched. I would pay back my sister the $500.00 I owe her from 4 years ago. For me, $5,000 dollars would make a world of difference in my life.
