You should give it to me because I feel like I am chained and gagged, being drug through my days. I've followed all of the rules of society; I earned my bachelor's in education, married, am raising two little ones. Life however, always has a different plan. I have a wonderful job that truly is a blessing, but my time is the most precious thing to me. When sick I want to be able to rest. When my children need me I want to be able to be there. Instead I am tied and drug along to this place and that in the name of being able to pay bills, get food on the table and provide a Christmas that holds up to previous years.

$5,000 may not sound like a lot to a lot of people, but my modest lifestyle would allow me to take some time off to write, spend time with my family, regain balance in my life and reassess. I feel it deep down in my core that I need just enough to bring myself out of the grind and get some momentum, and I'll manifest it one way or another!

Because I will give it to somebody else.

My county where I live has recently shut the doors on a food bank and the ones that are available are always needing extra to keep up. It is my wish to start a food bank to help the less fortunate and $5000 would give me the opportunity to start a business that would help those going hungry within my community.

I know you have heard a bunch of reasons as to why you should give money to someone and I am not saying that my reason will be any better but I hope that you will consider it. I can not begin to tell you how much it will help our family. My husband found out in March of 2013 that he has a Pineal Cyst in the Pineal Gland of his brain and just shortly found out that he has degernative disk disease. We have no life savings and have exhausted what little money we did have. We was living from pay check to pay check when he was getting to work, and now that he is recieving a short term disability check it only pays 60% of what he was making the checks are $268. We don't have enough to cover the doctors visits, meds, insurance that is past due fixing to cancel, food, rent, utilities, and gas to go to all the doctors visits. So if you could find it in your heart to help us in any way please. Thank you and god bless.

A 40 + woman that has homeless for the last four years after a bad divorce. I walked away from my home for my two children could live there instead if letting the lawyers getting it. They have the option to buy each others half or sell and split the money. But in order for that to happen I can't live or stay in the home.
