[link to www.hradf.com] The scope of work encompasses more than 70,000 properties of the public sector that are currently managed/owned by public real estate companies (KED, ETA), DEKO and the various Ministries. Thats a lot of stuff. TAIPED means Fund for the Development of Private Property of the State. They are selling everything and some of the selling prices are scandalous to say the least, especially for the profitable companies. Vultures throwing a party. I agree. I view privatization as a bad idea to raise money. In Germany they sold alot of stuff(for example water utiliy works), and then leased it back from the private companies, so they simply make a short term profit, but in the long term it costs way more for the tax payers, because the city or state as to constantly pay for the leasing rates. And often times it is american companies that now get money so that german cities simply get their water. Its outrageous. |

Bankrupt or not there is clearly a financial imperialism in place here mate. Lots of these things don't need to be sold, yes you can sell problematic companies but you can't sell healthy profitable companies at 1/10 of their real value. Really, do you thing that there is a chance to get the bailout money before December, if we get them (which I hope we want) Dunno, there was some talking that we could take only the first tranche, you know, the one for the banks, lol, pm says we have money until the end of November, but this shit proved to be a lie countless times.
