Re: Why Do Pleasure Signals Travel Faster Than Pain?
I think by default we are supposed to be in perpetual pleasure state. But because at times we dont feel pleasure anymore due to familiarity and boredom hence we explore out into the unknown. The venture got lost and we now stuggle back to get home where it is full of love and pleasure. I also think even after we got home then after a while we venture again and this process goes on and on...

Pleasure and love seem like a pretty shoddy reason to justify creation and evolution. Not withstanding all the pain and chaos that also encompasses it.

it has a lot to do with expectation..you don't expect pain but you expect pleasure therefore the neurotransmitters are released before the actual event whereas in pain the neurotransmitters are released after the actual event has already occured

I don't know but maybe because our Pleasure Centre,
"the Red Light District" (Nucleus Accumbens)
is centralized while our Pain Centre is Decentralized and had a much longer Pathway
with different Points of Action?

Re: Why Do Pleasure Signals Travel Faster Than Pain?
Probably not worthy of another thread but why do pain signals feel so much stronger than pleasure signals?

Because pleasure is fleeting and pain likes to linger.
