only some went to portugal,many went to scotland before heading west,some went to morrocco and became pirates to fight against the rcc,some just simply disappeared,I am decended from those who took many paths to escape the rcc,genetics will soon be able to piece us all back together again, I for one know my roots!  This is what I have been told as well.
