With Obama being President for four years and not having the same superstar draw. The same on the the republican side, no superstar like Sarah Palin. Or maybe all the advertising and money spent on this one actually turned people off. It is also possible the hurricane sandy hurt the overall turnout, by driving down turnout in the northeast. You would expect the Democrat total to be less than 08 but certainly not the Republican turnout. The Republicans were demoralized in 08 but were motivated to get rid of Obama this year. The whole thing is such obvious BS. |
