There was huge excitement concerning this election on the Republican side. One day last week in Ohio Romney had 30,000 show up and obama had 2800. That happened time and time again. I live maybe 15 miles outside NYC and work there. My job takes me to a different locations every day. I'm surrounded by Democrats. I have NEVER seen Democrats so looking forward to voting Republican as I have these last few months. That includes family members and friends who have been lifelong Democrats and were voting Republican for the first time. SOMETHING IS DEFINITELY WRONG! Why didn't Ron Paul endorse Romney? Anonymous Coward User ID: 1446267 United States 11/08/2012 06:30 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The poster who said the reason was because Ron Paul voters didn't participate nailed it. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1292637 I'm a ron paul voter that didn't vote. No. The third party vote was at the same percentage as 2008. So forget that explanation for it. OP is saying that only 72 percent of the vote was white this time as opposed to 74 percent of the vote last time. Then he asks what happened to 16 million white voters. Another way to look at this is there were more minority voters this time, diluting the white vote to 72 percent, down from 74 percent in 2008. The minority vote this time was 28 percent of the vote or 3 million more than in 2008, just about the number of votes that Obama needed to beat Romney. The real question is where did 3 million new minority voters come from? Aside from the usual election fraud, I am seriously convinced that these votes came from the 12-50 million illegal aliens living in this country who illegally voted for someone who will give them amnesty. You do not need proof of US citizenship to vote. This can be proven if someone is willing to do the footwork. Look at the states of Fla, Ohio, Nev, Wisconsin, and Colorado. Early voting gives the ground game plenty of time to see who is voting and what percentages they need on election day to win. Then they make sure they get those percentages. The statistics, which pointed to a Romney landslide, tell the tale. [link to www.youtube.com] |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 27253156 This is down 13 million from 2008 total of 131.4 million. In 2008 it is recorded that 100 million whites cast a vote representing 74% of the total and the minority share of the vote was 26%. Now they are reporting out of a total of 117 million votes, whites cast 72% and minorities cast 28%. That means that only 84 million whites voted in 2012 down 16 million from the 100 million whites who voted in 2008. Extrapolating from that, we have to say that 3 million more minorities voted in 2012 than in 2008. In 2010 the resident population of voting age (including aliens of voting age) was 234,564,000. This was an increase in resident population of almost 5 million from the 2008 figure. Yet we are expected to believe that there was a net loss of votes of 13 million representing 16 million fewer white voters and an additional 3 million minority voters. I mean, this is just NOT BELIEVABLE. I refer you to a chart of all the Presidential elections from 1932 -2010. [link to www.census.gov] As you can see, as the population increases, the number of voters increases in every election cycle except when Clinton ran for re-election against Dole. Not a hotly contested election. Kind of a walk away for Clinton. And, even with this....the drop in voters is not near 13 million, and 16 million whites. Here's one with him pulling 13 points. [link to www.freerepublic.com] Here's another poll showing Paul pulling 17% I think this has a lot of merit and after the way Romney and the republican party treated Paul it's very likely they just stayed home. Yet, here again, republicans are refusing to see just how much support Paul had. I find it ironic that the numbers in the polls vs how many stayed home are eerily close. This tells me if republicans want to win next time they better unleash Rand Paul on the democrats or else they have no one to blame, but themselves, again. |
