It appears that many here do not distinguish between the jurisdiction,power & control of local government(town,city,county) and state government verses the top/down central planning federal government. People have objections to the unlawful control,jurisdiction,force & power of the federal government not the the control,jurisdiction,power of local/state governments where the people have to most say and control,
People have no objections getting together and building strong,healthy,vibrant communities/towns/cities/states and paying property taxes,state taxes for public schools/fire/police services/rubbish services and all other services that make quality of life for that town/city/state better, what they don't want is the federal government forced public and private control and tyranny over we the people in our communities,cities and states

I gotta say, even though I am pulling the plug on supporting Obama and the liberals economy as best I can, I disagree with that statement about the military. I believe that our immense military budget is what has guaranteed that the former U.S.A. economy was the anchor of the world's economy and it allowed us to prosper without challenge.

I find it kind of ironic that now, in the U.S.S.A., our biggest threat came from within spearheaded by nobody but our current commander in chief and the illegal, unemployed, drug infested, EBT using human duplicators.

So to me, every penny spent by the military is a penny well spent.
