I was born in one as far as I know.
I only have fond memories. It felt like family, it felt warm and close, it felt like home. (Mind you it was just 3rd world, not drought third world).

Growing up away from it in the states, I just felt lonely. Yeah, I had all of the training and education that money could buy, but it never felt like home, it never felt warm and comfortable and safe.

I still want to go home.
