USA is no more for whites

You're right, perspective is everything. I doubt the slaves felt like they lucked up by being captured and taken away from everything they had ever known and everyone they had ever loved. Sometimes it seems like people romanticize the history and nature of how this country was founded. I also don't see much courage in showing up with guns to a place that had never seen or heard of a gun. Superior firepower doesn't make one courageous. It's kind of like deer hunting for antlers. True pussy sport in my humble opinion.

They were courageous for leaving to find a place where they could be free. They were no better than the ones they ran from though when they decided to slaughter the natives and then import natives from other countries to make them slaves.

Not to mention most of the Founding Fathers evidently enjoyed sleeping with black women. Let's never forget the wholesale rape that occurred at the hands of slave owners who would leave the wife in the house and walk out back to rape a slave at their whim.

So America shouldn't be just for whites because whites didn't build this nation on their own nor are they natives of this land. Trying to rewrite history any other way is just a weak attempt at escaping the truth and making the wrongs committed right.

Deer hunting period is a pussy sport in my opinion.

I don't know that I would want to live in Africa and I don't see many blacks getting on planes to go back.

I doubt they felt they lucked out. You're right. I doubt any other race including black people feel that their history was fair. Unless one is rich and spoonfed for generations. Life isn't fair. Get over it.

I agree about the deer hunting, especially in this day and age. However 150-200 years ago or in cases now where there isn't much option, I can understand hunting for food to survive.

Whether you would want to live in Africa or not is irrelevant to the conversation, we are speaking about the people who were born and raised there several hundred years ago. Black people aren't leaving this country because America is just as much theirs as anybody elses today. Black people in America today have no real connection with Africa, primarily because of slavery. Slaves who tried to keep their birth name or speak the language they knew were beaten and murdered for doing so. The slaves had no choice but to adopt American ways.Had those slaves been given a choice to go home immediately after getting here, I am pretty sure they would have all opted to go back then. 20-30 generations later, it's a moot point. That's like saying Why don't white people go back to England. Or Poland. Or Ireland.

The history point you make brings us back to the reality that the only reason slavery in America is part of black history is because whites invaded their land and made them slaves. They tried with the Native Americans but it's hard to make someone a slave in their own home so they basically massacred them and the ones they didn't, they introduced to good wholesome things like whiskey and tricked them into agreements to give up their land.

In order for slavery to work, they needed to make sure the slaves were in a foreign land where they didn't know anything about where they were and had no way to get back home, so kill the Native Americans and import the Africans.

Finally, in regards to Africa, that continent was and maybe still is richer in natural elements and resources like gold and diamonds more so than any other continent. Lets not forget oil either. Africa is also home to one of the most advanced civilizations on the planet, so much so that we, with all of our technology cannot replicate some of the things that were done there, mainly the pyramids in Egypt. I make that point to help dispel the notion that nothing came out of Africa, but drum beating tribesmen that lived in huts forever. That's part of the delusion white people have fed themselves to somehow make what was done ok and to act like the silver lining to slavery was at least you got to be in America. It's that thinking that is making today's reality so difficult to accept, but much like then, there is no choice now either. The blacks in America today are simply the fruits of the white mans labor from centuries ago.

In response to the "Get over it" advice, my dear brother that is precisely what I am trying to help you do in regards to America's current state. Get over it. Whites did not build this country alone, by any stretch of the imagination, so she, therefore, should not be just for whites. If anything, whites have been in a controlling position much longer than they should have, by rights.

This country was sought out by people who longed to be free. This country was built by those freedom seeking people by slaughtering one people and making slaves of another. They did to them exactly what they were fleeing from, times 100. There is no way to make it pretty, even if the end result was one of the greatest countries the world has ever known.

So yes.....Get over it.
