It is a senate rule that stops each side from doing very unpopular things... like stopping a rule change on who picks the Supreme Court

Its about goddamned time. It wont be getting rid of the filibuster. It will be returning it to the old school style. When you actually had to filibuster. No automatic BS filibuster. To be clear I advocate this regardless of which party is in power.

The Senate had decided a few years ago that you could call a filibuster and go home for two week vacation, simply going to go back to a true filibuster where you have to stay and continue to make your case. Stop jumping the gun on all this shit, you will be a nervous fucking wreck by the time this next term is over, its not good for you. Pick your battles but let it be something worth fighting for!
