Quake Trends? Pacific ring of fire.

Since the Japan quake there were a lot of people paying attention to the earthquakes near Japan, and there were a lot of quakes there. In the past few weeks to a month it seems that the quakes have moved across the pacific. With the 7.7 in BC then the 7.4 in Guatemala, and another 6.3 off of the BC coast.

Also there used to be more large quakes frequently in the Alaska area. Now that area has also quieted down.

Any thoughts. Is the west coast really due for a large quake?
