my husband has several times had encounters that have no explanation. like your experience, it was an everyday kind of situation. Nothing fancy.

He was at physical therapy and not feeling great. He had not lived here for very long, and felt unsure about what route to take driving home. Behind the desk, a young woman drew him a map and said "I'm really good at helping people find their way home." Using her directions, he arrived home.

A few days later at the next PT appointment, he wanted to thank the young woman, but she was not there. He described her as a beautiful young black woman, very sweet.

No such employee exists.

To this day, he wonders who she was. Our physical therapy group is the nicest bunch, people who have been in business for 20 years and really good at what they do.
They have helped almost all members of our family at some point or another.

But no one knows who this kindly woman was.

He still keeps the directions in his glove compartment.

I am so glad you posted this - it is that feeling that marks this kind of encounter.

We all see dozens of people every day, talk to many, etc, but very few encounters leave us with that kind of feeling.

My husband has had several such experiences, not just the one at physical therapy.
We laugh because they are in unlikely places (post office, elevator, etc.) and always leave him feeling touched by the supernatural - washed by love and awe.

Has not happened to me yet!

None of this happened before he became a believer. At over age 70, he was baptized. The only Jewish person ever baptized by that pastor, that's for sure!

We pray for the safety of all around the LA sinkhole frequently. Hope your grandson is safe, if I remember right, he lives in the general area.

We lucked out with Sandy, little harm here in Delaware.
