THE OCEAN OF UNIVERSAL LOVE

« We must learn to unite with the divine Source of love and drink from this Source the living water flooding the whole universe. Many times we act like an ignorant man who, plunged in water up to his neck, cries out, "I'm thirsty! I'm thirsty!" If he wants to drink, all he needs to do is open his mouth; but his mouth is closed, and he dies of thirst. Even if God's love is all around us, even if we bathe in it, we still sigh and cry for help, and keep on searching for him. "In him we live and move and have our being", says Saint Paul. We are immersed in love like fishes in the ocean, we already live in it without realizing it. All we need to do is open up a little, and we shall be immediately submerged by the magnificent power of love. »
