The level of anger in the New York area must be reaching epic proportions.

I'm over in Jersey. We've been doing this for the past week now.

My friend in Nassau County still doesn't have power, 10 days later. He's been using a generator ever since. They're giving him no time frame at all.

this will cause hording like in the 70s, everyone fills up on their day, in case they need it the next. So supplies plummet.

I spoke with a friend in Brooklyn today.

They mentioned that gas is very hard to come by. Her brother waited in line for a couple of hours only to have the station run out 2 cars ahead of him.

I know many in the NY area and some are doing ok, some are suffering. One lost their home and a few lost their vehicles.

They have a long way to go before things are back to normal.

Individuals on the News 12 website say they will just switch plates with their 2nd car and get gas. So I guess, if they break the law I can do the same and if I notice it while in line that their registration and plates don't match, putting a few rounds in them won't matter. Breaking the law is breaking the law. My .45 beats their plate switch!

Good plan. Murder is the exact same as getting gas when it's not your day.......

think about how silly it is to say this....
they have 2 cars....2 tanks to fill....

this stop these silly folks from driving around for a week waiting driving chasing the fuel truck....wasting gas to buy gas.

I got lucky and just got gas after waiting from 8:30... Not as long as others and its the first time I've filled since before the storm. People keep topping off their cars when they don't need gas yet, and therein lays the problem.

If you are referring to the fact that some long islanders make a decent salary you need to factor in the cost of living here. I also don't understand how you can make such a rude comment if you A have seen the detestation here B have heard about it or C are a human being. Good luck to you.
