I consider it to be superior but sadly it's a little bit too complicated for most. It's basically like hearing words through eyes. ASL is basically a foreign language. I don't get the ASL part where you have to do finger spelling of a word. Useless in my opinion. Doesn't matter anyway. My wife is hearing person. Everybody around me are hearing even though I have almost total hearing loss. Just used to it. I like having a wife where I can just yell out "get me more wine while you're at it!"

The National Guard only carries weapons depending on their mission. The MN and ND national guard are commonly called out for flood control missions on both sides of the boarder. They do not carry weapons because it does no good to shoot at the flood water.
