I get really really high and drive around my city every day... The effects vary from person to person, and it basically comes down to your mental health. Don't blame pot, blame dumb people for being dumb. Very simple.

Sometimes I get stoned and drive around listening to music, and it's so relaxing and awesome. I find I pay better attention to the road, infact.

But there are times, mostly at night, I get stoned and I just think that every car is a cop car and it makes me slightly paranoid in that aspect.

I've also driven drunk. I've driven really drunk. Driving drunk is a different beast. There are the drunk driving times when I am super glued to the road, trying to maintain, and drive straight. It sucks. It's super hard to do and it's scary as fuck, well for me it is. There are other drunk times, when you are SO drunk that you don't even care about driving normal. I've been in this state too. Driving home completely on back roads (smart enough to stay off main roads) singing along with the radio at the top of my lungs. It sucks. It really sucks because you're so drunk that you just don't really care.

I barely ever drunk drive, so hold onto your judgments, but it has happened on a few occaissions. Most of them time I do really good at finding another ride or a place to crash. I hate drunk driving.

Drunk driving is shitty as hell. Driving while stoned is completely different. It's not that bad, especially if you are used to driving while stoned, and most definitely if you aren't paranoid.
