That is, whites only made up 72% of the votes cast in this election, compared to 78% in 2008. This despite the "enthusiasm gap" which all pundits noted, even liberals. This despite the fact that white population did in fact grow in the four years from 2008 to 2012. Maybe not as fast as minorities, but it grew. And OH YEAH, this despite the fact that Gallup's "likely voter" estimates PUBLISHED OCTOBER 26, 2012 predicted a 78% white turnout, identical to 2008. [link to www.gallup.com] BETWEEN OCTOBER 26 AND NOVEMBER 7, 2012, 6.7 MILLION WHITE "LIKELY VOTERS" SIMPLY DISAPPEARED. C'mon folks, who believes this? Meanwhile the Obama liberals are shuckin' and jivin' about "the end of the white male." This makes me want to puke for my poor lost America. No one is shucking and jiving tardo. Those non voters were independents douche. The party's showed up BIG TIME. Since you see only race you have no common fucking sense. They were never WITH you they fucking despise Republicans and were not for Obama. I think that they were Hilary voters so expect to see them in 2016 Biatch. ^^^^ This + infinity!!!! |

If you still have this attitude, then you'll probably be ok with ushering in another HITLER. I am american smartass. I simply moved to Germany years ago because of family. What does that kind of attitude have to do with Hitler ? You dumb piece of shit. The attitude of believing that a puppet president can change the country is what brought Hitler to the top. Desperate sheep who want a leader to tell them how it's done. That is what the majority of the US is seeking. Those who voted Obama and those who voted for Romney. They both want the same and are equally dumb. Now go and fuck yourself. Thank you for your kind remarks. Obviously, and sadly for you, the American educational system failed you. Try to find a non revisionist history book that explains what happened to the Germans and the Jews. You'll learn something and actually be surprised with the shit you're trying to shovel on the thread. Haha. The american educational system is full of shit. I have german relatives that lived through the war and know exactly how it went down. I don't have to listen to anyone from a brainwash academy in order to figure it out. Just so you know, whites only made up 74% of the 2008 vote, and we tried to tell you that the Gallup model was flawed. Dick Morris told us this is the first time in history an incumbent president's margin shrunk over the challenger and he still won the presidency. Obama led by 7 points in 2008 and 1 point in 2012. First time in the history of elections for president this happened and the incumbent didn't lose. For an incumbent's margins to shrink that much, he is not well liked. That has always in the past meant defeat. But real clear politics has overplayed its hand, I think. How could they possibly know what percentage of whites, blacks, hispanics, and asians voted and for whom they voted? Where did they get that information? Nobody asked my race when I voted. And, my vote is private. I guess when you are writing the story, you can write the ending as well. |

That might work in a rough fashion, but to publish such precise figures as 72 percent, etc two days after the election? I DON'T THINK SO. such little faith youhave in your fellowman Oh I have great faith in my fellow man to prevaricate, lie, steal, cheat, and have evil in their hearts all the time, <snip> 'nuf said, oh, ye of little hope, i donot want to play with you anymore |
Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 6493463 United States 11/10/2012 11:39 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | There's no mystery. I know lots of people that didn't like either choice. So guess what? They didn't vote. How is that so hard to comprehend. By the way, a white person's vote isn't automatically a vote for Romney. The title of your thread kind of implies that's what you think. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 11758031 Guess what? On October 26, 2012 (2 weeks before the election), Gallup estimated "likely voter" turnout to be 78% white. Final turnout was 72% white. Difference = 7 million voters. You think it's normal for 7 million likely voters to suddenly decide it's not worth voting? No I didn't say the entire white vote would be for Romney. It's BLACK people who vote nearly 100% by race. The white vote split 60-40 Romney-Obama, which if multiplied by 7 million missing votes would have added a couple of million to Romney's total. The question, now, is "In what states was this precipitous drop concentrated?" If you read the article you linked, I don't know about states, but in Ohio the dropoff seemed as much if not more focused on heavily democratic areas. Most likely it's mostly liberal white males who didn't want to vote for Obama for whatever reason (I know a few friends who dislike him for his drone policy.) Remember, his voting total dropped a LOT more from 2008 then Mitt's did. It seems likely a lot of these lost votes were ones he carried in 2008. That could be. They both got fewer votes than their respective parties in 2008 (Romney got less than McCain ... a fact that seems hard to believe) but yet Obama got a lot less too. |
