Don't have direct welfare to lose (like all Americans I reap the benefits of food, gas, and other subsidized costs). I'm a professional in my field with over a decade of experience, and I do pretty well. The thought of not contributing is absurd to me, there are too many people in need that aren't capable of doing the same.

Some people need an incentive to work their butts off, such as a decent salary. If the government takes away the incentive in high taxes out of the paycheck, people lose interest in working hard. What's so hard to understand about that?

I fail to understand your statement just how are those who oppose communist obama are embracing his economic destruction and following suit. Unless you are talking about communist obama‘s goal of spreading the wealth from those who create jobs and have money to those who leech from them.

Previous welfare recipients were a bunch of low life scumbags that were too lazy to work, so they just sat around and let someone else do it.

Since Obama was reelected, people who previously worked; now can choose to stop working and let someone else support them because it's the right thing to do.

Try referring to actual tax rates and notice who reaps the benefits of tax deductions and who pays the lion's share. In my opinion, everyone should pay a set percentage thus equalizing the tax burden and add genuine fairness to the system.
