11/21/12 ..... Red Dawn .... Your views ?!?

The year circa 83 the tension in the air from the cold war so thick you could cut it with a knife. The film Red Dawn premiers depicting a band of young rebels that stand up to the then soviet invaders (communist). It sparked the surge of patriotism that even when mentioned today without the remake "Wolverines" is the war cry of a generation.
Today we are faced with very similar scenarios of being invaded by the communists, this time the Chinese and Korean. In the remake of this timefelt classic has replaced the soviets with the Chinese , was this done intentionally to alert the masses to the very possibility of foriegn invasion. Are they blatantly instructing or even more so reminding us of our American duties as Americans in a situation such as the one being depicted.?
The very possiblity that we may be invaded in the near future is not the rambling of a old paranoid fool but the hum on the lips of the youth and the elderly alike.... It may be one of the few points that bridge that generational gap.
