| Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 26402302 11/08/2012 09:55 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | What did you brew? I mean, frozen grape juice concentrate with some water and sugar in a 5 gallon carboy will bubble and brew into some drinkable wine...so what did you brew? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 27347979 Water, sugar, high yield yeast plus X plus a secret ingredient to allow the yeast to tolerate massively higher alcohol concentrations. Not telling what that is. Probably up to 19%-ish in week 3. Too fucked up to read the hydrometer. Ask me a proper question. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 27347979 Nah, been experimenting with something & decided to try it with yeast to see what happens. It kills the yeast in high concentrations. Lower, something weird happens. I fall over mostly. :D |

| Anonymous Coward User ID: 27347979 11/08/2012 10:27 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I remember some lecherous shit I brewed from malted rye and it was horrible, but I had added so much sugar it gave me a buzz with 1 glass. It actually tasted pretty good after I bottled it and let it age for a year....or I just got used to its taste after drinking bottles of it for a year. |
| Anonymous Coward User ID: 27347979 11/08/2012 10:35 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Seriously...you can brew some pretty decent sweet wine by just boiling 10 pounds of sugar in 5 gallons of water and then pouring it into any fruit juice you want and then letting it cool and adding a frozen container of grape juice(it has active yeast in it already!). Use stevia to sweeten it. |
