The concept is valid, but you are talking about gettin obese retarded TV-snacking Americans off their fat butts to protest something.

Let me know how that works out for you.

I know those guys were Fascists, and often they were violent, but you must admit nobody died during that famous March on Rome. So it was a nonviolent march.

Thanks. I screwed up with the wording of 2 different threads, and got neither one right. I stated, down in the posts that I meant nonviolent noncompliance. Strictly peaceful in all aspects. No mass marches, no public protests, no inconvenience to the population. Just a mass noncompliance with....pick a subject.

Recall, Repeal, Impeach, reform not revolution.

Recall
A recall election (also called a recall referendum or representative recall) is a procedure by which voters can remove an elected official from office through a direct vote before his or her term has ended. Recalls, which are initiated when sufficient voters sign a petition, have a history dating back to the ancient Athenian democracy[1] and are a feature of several contemporary constitutions.
[link to en.wikipedia.org]

Repeal
A repeal is the removal or reversal of a law. There are two basic types of repeal, a repeal with re-enactment (or replacement) of the repealed law, or a repeal without replacement. The motion to rescind, repeal, or annul is used in parliamentary procedure to cancel or countermand an action or order previously adopted by the assembly. Removal of secondary legislation is normally referred to as revocation rather than repeal in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Under the common law of England and Wales, the effect of repealing a statute was "to obliterate it completely from the records of Parliament as though it had never been passed."[1] This, however, is now subject to savings provisions within the Interpretation Act 1978.

Impeachment
Impeachment in the United States is an expressed power of the legislature that allows for formal charges against a civil officer of government for crimes committed in office. The actual trial on those charges, and subsequent removal of an official on conviction on those charges, is separate from the act of impeachment itself.

We do have the Right and the Power to make change.(Reform not Revolution) The U.S. Population in 2012 is Nearly 313 Million People. Of the 313 million people there are 535 Members of Congress, {435 in the House of Representatives and 100 in the Senate}. These so called law makers are little more than spoiled self-serving tyrants.

If only 8% of the population (25,040,000) people would stand up and say we want fiscal responsibility. No more living off tomorrow’s earnings, demand that we must live within our own earnings just as was done back in 1776 where only 7 or 8 percent of the people demanded change, and we got it. Freedom from tyranny .

313,000,000 population in U.S.A.
-25,040,000 8% working for change of twisted policy
287,960,000 the number who can sit home drink their 40’s, and watch Jersey Shores

8% of 313 000 000 = 25,040,000 (( heck the state of Texas has 25,674,681 in population. This is doable folks.. WE NEED responsible Public Servants, not self- serving tyrants.

Remember there are 535 voting Members of Congress; the House of Representatives has 435 and the Senate has100. CHANGE THEM ALL !!!!!! PUT THE TRASH OUT NOW !!!!!

But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague.”

I agree with all points in your post. I made a huge miscalculation with my vague wording in the thread title, and in several subsequent posts. My main point was to try to get an opinion on noncompliance on items such as Obamacare. Granted, as evidenced by the vote, a SLIGHT majority of voters are in favor of it, IF a vote for Obama is to be considered a vote for Obamacare. On the other hand, several nationwide polls have shown that somewhere between 54 and 59 percent of those polled are against it. My question should have asked what would happen if the number of people that those polls imply, would just refuse to include the penalty portion of their tax returns in their check to the IRS. There is not enough enforcement personnel, no jails to hold that many people. I believe in rule of law, and the proper methods of correcting the wrong people in charge of the country. Hypothetical, and looking for opinions. Thank you for your reply.
