Will the new Congress be obstructionist?

John Boehner never had much of a boehner for Obama.

If you call standing up for what the other 49.9% of the citizens believe in obstructionist, I would say yes.

There's a reason the Founding Fathers developed our 2 party system.

They may compromise a bit more than the past 2 years, but I don't see them bending too much. Once the downside aspects of "Obamacare" unfold, and economic problems develop from that and higher energy and electricity prices... The GOP House will grow bolder as the 2014 elections near. Dems then won't be able to blame Bush they'll pay as Obama's popularity plummets from all this.

Energy and electricity prices will soar when the EPA begins to really crack down on utilities about burning coal, and oil refineries will have to comply to much tougher and expensive regulations. @014 elections will set up GOP presidential win in 2016 if they pick a halfway decent candidate.

OP, its the same shit its been for the last 2 years. Nothing has changed. We are in for the same 'ole gozillion dollar spending bills that the Dems try and pass through a Repub house. Same shit.
It is the way it is for a reason...checks and balances.

The founding fathers were wise beyond any of our modern-day educated leaders.

Hopefully nothing gets done.

+1. The House of Representatives write the laws, the majority Republicans aren't going to obstruct themselves??? Its only the Spendocrat minority or the President who can obstruct.

But by some miracle of MSM logic, the House is called and will continued to be called obstructionist.
