I understand your point of view. I have thought the same at times. However, there is just too much unexplained. The monoliths, cannot just be "lost tech" and human. We today cannot come close to it yet we are on the moon. If exopolitics are wrong, then a lot of the Nazi/Nasa stuff must be all lies. That is too elaborate also. My father worked on Black Projects and was always hinting at exopolitics. He went to Huntsville where Von Braun worked. My dad worked for Lockheed research in Palo Alto. I knew that the Russians lost their Mars probe (Phobos) the day it nearly happened (something took it out and was briefly photographed).I did not know that was classified as I was a little kid. My dad got Russell Targ his job at Lockheed after SRI dumped him after they got what they wanted from him for starting the Remote Viewing project. They were tracking disks. That was Pentagon/CIA. Just too much "strangeness". There is just so much more "out there" than we "civilians" are allowed to know. We live in a fishbowl. It is a small little world. We are flat landers and from that point of view, yes, Aliens seems silly and it "is just money". That is all we understand. There is just so much more. We are blind and cannot even see infrared.
