I will never believe Obama actually won this with a fair vote count. One of the most important aspects of conspiracy theories is being able to discern when there isn't one. Oh yeah, like you'd understand anyway. Where are we going and why am I in this handbasket?. . .J. Handy |

Thousands of republican voters stayed home because of what the GOP did to them. Mitt Romney did not win because of a fractured republican party. Get it together and try again in 4 more years. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 19396116 ![]() "What you have just said, is the most insanely idiotic thing I have ever heard. At no point, in your rambling incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul." |

So convinced he was going to win that he didn't bother preparing a concession speech and made everybody wait for hours. I could have told the Mormon jerk he was probably going to lose big. Nate Silver proved that the polls had been saying it all along. And btw, John McCain was far more gracious in his speech when he lost to Obama than Rmoney was. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 19396116 yup, after what the GOP pulled on many supporters that supported Paul and others, the republican energy was not the same at all. Tea party lost steam, which goes to show it was the paul supporters giving the tea party its energy not the neocons that tried to take over it...they could not reproduce it. they failed miserably. I think now, more than ever, they know they must change the platform to include more liberatarian views if they are to widen their tent and actually be able to compete the big tent the democratic party has become. the time of neocons are over, accept it or die, republican party. |

Romney/Ryan even received fewer votes that McCain/Palin in 08. Not a whole lot of enthusiasm for a party that threw out Ron Paul and his supporters. The GOP died at the RNC. |

Maybe the American public shoud be given more credit. C'mon , a guy who believes that wearing special underwear will guarantee him his very own planet in the afterlife ? Where all his spirit children will visit him ? Sounds like a great choice for President. Certailnly an individual you would want in control of the red button. |

Quoting: Bluebird I will never believe Obama actually won this with a fair vote count. Romney screwed up big time admitting he didn't care about half the country. Do you really think anyone under his 53% were going to vote for him after that? Even if he was lucky enough to get all of that 53% to vote for him it still wouldn't make up for the 47% voting for Obama. I am disappointed in having to live with Obama again, but Romney is just as bad as him and that's judging only by the things he said he was going to do, not making assumptions on what he would have done if he had gotten into office. Half the country would be in the gutter if Romney was in charge, same with Obama too..so...bleh, we were screwed no matter what. |
| Anonymous Coward User ID: 27364126 11/09/2012 02:30 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | GOP lost votes because of social issues. Pro-Life? There goes most of your women voters. Anti-Gay? There goes most of your independent voters. Anti-Immigration? There goes ALL of your latino voters. All republicans have to do is focus on the economy, which struggled under democratic policy. Instead, it has the reputation of a cranky rich old white man party that will continue to struggle until it realizes some modernization is needed. |

Thousands (probably many thousands) of businesses are going to go out of business under obamacare, millions more will be forced into unemployment. This is literally the end of the U.S. as we know it, may have been so with Romney as well, not the point. Our world is falling to pieces and people are celebrating. |

Birthright citizenship is KILLING the USA and leaving it open to festering pockets of parasites. 1/3 of all Californians are on welfare. One fucking third. |
