I don't think there's any doubt that John Lennon represented a threat to TPTB. Much like Jesus and many others over the millennia, he threatened the TPTB's monopoly on power by showing there was a different way, an alternative. It didn't HAVE to be the way it was. I'd say he was about allowing people to realize they didn't HAVE to be a part of man-made, organized religion in order to "go to Heaven" or be a good person, or whatever criteria one chooses to use. The whole architecture of religion is a charade. You dispute that?

Yeah it was a reference to the "Faul" controversy. Whether there's any fire with all that smoke, I don't know. I've seen and read some interesting takes on it. Obviously if certain elements are true, it's incredibly suspicious.

John Lennon only bashed "fags" because he himself qualified as a "fag". He was in fact bisexual. Many celebrities, and people, act or say homophobic things to distract away attention from themselves that they themselves actually have "fag" sentiments... if the truth were to get out it would largely affect their public image... i.e. business. It still goes on today. Pretty often actually.
