Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1516077 but even if it does, i feel pretty confident about my survival. But if things get that bad..is it truly surviving or merely existing? What do you call what everybody is doing now. Barely surviving and hardly existing. Its a state of mind. It won't be easy in either world before or after. Its all alot of hard work. The ones that don't know how to work hard are the ones whom this will effect the most. |

Anybody is a big city center has to plan to leave if they can. But the problem is those 2 weeks of supplies are just that. 2 weeks at best. Then what...? They are you are just delaying the inevitable. If you haven't made arrangements ahead of time to go to a safe location thats in place before hand and have provisions waitng for you there to start over with ( Years Worth ) your finished. |

They sent some jerks into my life intentionally to punch me etc. until they could implant about five inches of titantium and other things in my neck. The khumer rouge financed this. Every heard of the Erie pizza collar bomb victim? Erie Pa. Yep. I know all the doctors involved they are all with a gaming casino. Boyd. |

Now while risky due to uncertainity of SHTF DOOM which only comes once a civilization and which will be the last it's a real gamble OP but i'll tell you what, Your investment makes more sense than investing in the stock market but it's still meaningless in the end. S will HTF no doubt it's just a matter of when. Now i advise on top of your investment you invest in having a relationship with the Lord Jesus and let him be your bug out bag. You can't go wrong if you do. |

That means that I'll have to continue university mind control programming, then find a job to fit in with all the good sheep. Quoting: Jaid0gz This. I just know something bigger is out there and we are being witheld from the truth so if shit does go down it seems it's the best way to find out the truth. We need a new beginning anyways this shit is fuckkked. |

| Dutch Familyman User ID: 27213123 11/12/2012 03:13 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Hey guys, you are forgetting something. My grandparents weren't preppers but still they had a basement with food storage, had spare blankets, petrolium for the heater and lamps and so on. My parents somewhat te same, but more modern and practical. Even now they are old people, there garage is mom's domain and contains a month or so on food and drink, dad's barn has everything besides food to get through a harsh winter. They do not have to go out for at least four weeks. were my grandparents and parents mad, doomers, insane preppers? I think not. They were/are the generations that knew/know hardship/harsh times, heavy winters, war, freezing cold and hunger!! So they naturally prepared themselfs for that in summer/good times. All very normal, even critters and a lot of animals do so.... I my self am not a prepper but follow in their footsteps I can stay in for at least a month if oldmanwinter hits hard, like in New York City right now... I have an alternative source of heat, and have plenty things for the kids to do which does not recuire batteries or an powered walloutlet. I even got a winterpackage and get-back-home bag in the trunk of the car. No i do not prep but yes one must prepare for a normal dose of uncontrolled situation called desasters/ heavy winter / epidemics and commuinictie-problems (riots) and so on. Yes it has cost me too some money, but it was fun doing, created new skills and i sleep very very well knowing i'm prepared for things my neighbours are not.... Oh yeah, in the netherlands there are several laws on gun and weapon control, but still i can alse protect my property, food/supplies and relatives if needed. Even within the boundries of our laws on weapons. So i can keep dumb neighbours out ;-) if used 40 years and 70K ... nice hobby, a good spent 40 years on fun and money well spent .. better on this than on gambling, liquor or smokes... do not worrie a wise man prepares for winter, while the fool plays outside. Don't get caught outside!!! Every civilisation crashed, every 100 years or so there was a big war, hunger or thirst strikes earth every 2 or 3 generations ... nature has returned from the regular cycle of 10k years of rest ... be prepared she's very powerfull and does not give a shit about humans... so a word for the unprepared (sheeple, starving people of new jersey laughing at preppers) ... prepare! (but don't go overboard with it) (ps. and there are many levels of preparation ... a prepper is top-level ... but still you can settle for a level or so lower and still be capable of seeing through a Catrina of Sandy!!!) Peace love and wisdom for ya all!!! |
| mkhay User ID: 27117386 11/12/2012 03:14 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | i spent almost my entire life savings to prepare for SHTF. i'll be really devastated if it does not happen. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1516077 anyone here in the same boat? OK just relax . Our {familys} chief decided to do this in the 60s. Just follow the handbook and live as if everything is normal, as It will be and if the shit hits you know what to do. Growing up and learnig is far above the norm and only the strong and educated in such a manner are the ones that will help our {society carry on}. So just relax and carry on without letting parinioa{spelling sucks} set in ook cause it will be ok. You must relax though always keep an open mind. |
