My friend which we will call kal anon., has 6 kids all under 17. He works part time at target paying 8.00 dollars an hour. He works 12 hours a week part time. He just sent me an email from H&R Block for his assumed guarentee payment for tax refund. He got 12 thousand dollars. Are you kidding me. 12 grand. For working 12 hours a week. But wait, it gets better. Because kal, and his wife are poor, they also get 65% of their rent paid. They also get internet, (faster than mine I might add), plus cell phones, and food stamps which is about 950 month. Hell he lives better than I do, and I pay in every year. This is not right......I work 60 plus hours a week to make sure my employees arent over worked. And this asshole makes more in total benefits then me. What THE FUCK?

Im american and thought i had it bad, my job started sending us jobs overseas that last from 3 to 12 months. Most jobs i went out on were in Africa, thats when i really saw the true definition of poor. But the Africans are happy, I never understood why, they have so little and everything is stripped from them by their own governments. In Ukraine, a former soviet country, people are sad. i was only in Kiev so I cant speak for the rest of the country, but everything was old. Roads, metro, trollies, cars, no houses everyone lived in apartments the size of a garage at the price of a 2 story house, everything was old and beat up. The government supplied all hot water, they decide when its warm enough outside to turn the heat off. Americans think the grass is greener on the other side of the fence, they.....we, are blind to the things we should be grateful for. Obama supporters screaming at republicans for the same things they complained about when bush was in office.
