ANOTHER RED DAY IN THE MARKETS!!! DOW FUTURES -100!!! | |
Rising Son User ID: 26324052 Japan 11/09/2012 06:24 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Daily gyrations with a trend downwards. The markets have no appetite for austerity. After all, which business owner wants to be operating in an austere economy. So all this talk of austerity is basically driven by a need to drive down wages but is also tempered by the need to ensure that consumers are not pauperised. But then again, you don't own a business so this is probably all too hard for you to grasp. Austerity - the policy of a government cutting spending by reducing benefits and entitlements? I believe you are comparing governmental economic policies with free market. Of course, I don't own a business so I'm too dumb to understand, right? Exactly. Do you think a business owner cares where his profits come from. Oh yeah, I can see him standing at the door to his mall saying, no benefit spenders please. God, are you people that stupid!! Take it easy, Karl - you are jumping to quite a few conclusions and assumptions. Calm down, and try to show a little more respect, you will receive it back. I do not disagree that business owners are more concerned with profits than the source of those profits. However, a business that counts on government subsidies is doomed from the start. Solyndra was a perfect example. I fear it will only get worse now. "Be still, and know that I am God." Psalm 46:10 Truth needs no validation because it is self-evident and undeniable. Therefore, anything that requires validation to be realized or justified as truth must contain at least some degree of falsehood. Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak. [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] |

Precisely. Business owners don't care where their profits come from -- they'll suck the tit of whoever they have to to get their shekels. Which is why capitalism and Marxism are in bed with each other and have been since the Second World War. The growth economy itself needs to be destroyed. Dont talk rubbish! Marxist society would have no private ownership, no banks and be communal as in no private housing. The social democrats are intelligent capitalists. Conservatives have achieved their objective of a globalised market place put in place by Raegan and Thatcher. The only ones fit enough to run this arrangements are social democrats who know how to tweak the momentum of money. Obama has a long way to go to undo the damage left by Bush who achieved another objective....freeing up oil from Arab nationalists. Conservatives are good for big ticket items. Day to day running is better in the hands of social democrats. However, if communists ran the world, the global economy would be driven by need, not profit. Workers of the World, Unite. This is what this is about. The Greeks are not "productive" enough for the capitalist economy as in self reliant and nuclear, family structure wise. A period of minimal government I suspect is designed to wean them off the family state structure and move them into a modern more flexible society. After all, they are a leisure economy and not sufficiently diverse to extend their contribution within a N Europe dominated EU. So I am sanguine about this. They will emerge from this more leaner and integrated in the EU project. Workers of the World, Unite. You have nothing to lose but your chains! |

Take one mall owner with a penchant to become a global billionaire, a Golden Dawn ideologue with a taste for caviare and you have modern day politicians. I strongly recommend enjoying your life whist of course noting that the current crisis will end up with all of us working a lot harder, possibly at two jobs, to keep shopping. In the interim, there will be riots and the promises of Golden Dawns but there's always shopping therapy as well. Hahahaha Didn't mean to hijack your thread Luis. I'll call it a day now. Don't fret about the EU however. These are the birth pangs of the next capitalist phase. Workers of the World, Unite. You have nothing to lose but your chains! |
