If they can reduce enough of the US population to fearful ignorance, their hegemony should become permanent. I'm not sure what they expect a country full of bigoted, bible-thumping morons to be able to accomplish however. .... |

As a result, their ideas are narrowing as quickly as their constituency. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 16682454 They are completely **insulated** from reality. As a result, their ideas are narrowing as quickly as their constituency. Indeed. It is why they are so surprised Obama won. They didn't believe all the polling data because Fox, Limbaug, and Drudge told them the liberal media was conspiring and lying about the polls... |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1421478 lol what a moron.... The ignorance/backwardness of the south has nothing to do with minority populations. The South has some of the largest Black populations in the country. It has a lot to do with it. If you remove Black and Hispanic test scores from the United States as a whole, the country moves into the top 5 in world rankings. California has some of the worst math and science scores in the country -- while those hillbillies up in Montana are in the top 10. Why on earth wouldn't it drag down the overall picture? |
