Re: 3.2 Earthquake, GREATER LOS ANGELES AREA, CALIFORNIA
This is only the first of a series of earthquakes that will hit California in the following 48 hours. THe Queen Charlotte earthquake and the one in Guatemala were merely FORESHOCKS!! A MASSIVE EARTHQUAKE above 8.7 MAG is very likely to hit Caifornia within the next 48 hours!!!
ahhh

Another poster also from Brazil posted about CA getting a huge quake within the next few days. And another about a 9.0+ in CA before Nov 14. I lived in CA during the 7.5 EQ of 1972. Was an hour away from LA and the whole place shook like a baby rattle. IMO there will be another "natural disaster" very soon. Link? No. It could be a quake, could be the sinkhole exploding with all that methane. But somethin's a-comin'!!

Re: 3.2 Earthquake, GREATER LOS ANGELES AREA, CALIFORNIA
You people do realize the largest EQ ever recorded in all of California is only a 7.9 right? Since EQ magnitude is exponential, the chances of it getting higher than that go up extremely high for each .1.

A 9.0 will most likely never happen in our life times.

The Northridge quake was "only" a 6.7. Look what that did.
It doesn't need to be an 8 or 9 to do massive damage - it just needs to strike in an urban area...and I for one will be very happy if that never happens again!

Jerry Moonbeam Brown and the Democrat super-majority in California's state legislature will tax any earthquakes.

That'll stop 'em!

badcat A 3.2 is hardly worth bothering about.

When I lived there on several occasions I was driving at the time a quake happened and only knew there had been one when someone mentioned it later.
